Points to Note

Procedures for application submission:

Please fill in the form directly by typing on a computer. In case of any technical situation, please print out the form, fill in the form manually, scan or take the photo. Email the electronic version of the form and attach your passport photo of 3.5 cm wide x 4.5 cm long (minimum 300dpi, jpg format) to Brain Body Centre Limited (Hong Kong) at info@brainbodycentre.com on or before December 15, 2019. Fill in the speaker’s name in the Speakers’ Application Form. For example: Speech Proposal - Jane Smith.

Important dates:

On or before December 15, 2019 Applicants to submit Speakers’ Application Form.
On or before January 15, 2020 Applicants receive letters of confirmation (whether accepted or not).
On or before March 15, 2020 Selected speakers submit original script of the speech, along with any relevant image files.
On or before April 15, 2020 Approved speakers submit PPT file for the speech

* Evening of October 17, 2020 (Saturday) Gala Dinner at the hotel

Duration of speech:

Speeches range from 45 minutes to 1 hour 30 minutes (including the time for interpretation). The organizers will issue a letter of confirmation on January 15 2020 to inform each speaker how much time he/she has for his/her speech.

Special request by speaker regarding the day of presentation:

Please specify in No. 4 of the Speakers’ Application Form if you have any preference on the day of speech. The organizers will do their best to suit your preference. You will be informed of your date of speech in a letter of confirmation.

Length requirements of your essay:

Please keep the length of your essay within 3 sheets of A4 paper for text content. (using font size 12, Times New Roman, counting texts and not counting not counting images) Image content can be extra. If the length of your speech exceeds the above specification, the co-sponsor reserves the right to directly trim the content or request the speaker to delete part of the content.

Discounts to speakers:

Conference speakers will receive Hong Kong Dollar HK$585 or Renminbi CNY¥500 discount from the conference fee, in addition to any early-bird discounts (if applicable), no matter how many days the speaker sign up for. All other costs, such as travelling costs, visa costs, costs of food and accommodation, and costs of attending the conference, will be borne by the speaker. It is implied that the applicant agrees to such terms once the Speakers’ Application Form is submitted and if his/her speech is being selected.

Enrollment by speakers at the conference:

Would all applicants from Hong Kong, Taiwan and overseas please submit your Conference Enrolment Form and payment to Body Brain Centre Ltd. (Hong Kong) to get the HK$585 (CNY¥500) speaker’s discount.

Conference fees:

• Original fees for 4-day participation: HK$6,135 (CNY¥5,200);
  1-month early-bird price:
  HK$5,665 (CNY¥4,800) (paid on/before September 15, 2020);
  3-month super early-bird price:
  HK$4,955 (CNY¥4,200) (paid on/before July 15, 2020);
• Original fees for 3-day participation: HK$5,520 (CNY¥4,680);
  1-month early-bird price:
  HK$5,100 (CNY¥4,320) (paid on/before September 15, 2020);
  3-month super early-bird price:
  HK$4,250 (CNY¥3,600) (paid on/before July 15, 2020).
• Original fees for 2-day participation: HK$4,600 (CNY¥3,900);
  1-month early-bird price:
  HK$4,250 (CNY¥3,600) (paid on/before September 15, 2020);
  3-month super early-bird price:
  HK$3,540 (CNY¥3,000) (paid on/before July 15 2020).
• Original fees for 1-day participation: HK$3,070 (CNY¥2,600);
  1-month early-bird price:
  HK$2,830 (CNY¥2,400) (paid on/before September 15, 2020);
  3-month super early-bird price:
  HK$2,360 (CNY¥2,000) (paid on/before July 15, 2020).

1. The fees above include: conference manual, attendance certificate (attendance rate 80% or above), tea breaks (morning and afternoon), gala dinner (applicable to attendants who attend the 3rd day only).
2. Please refer to Conference Enrollment Form for conference fees and refund policy in detail.
3. For participants and speakers outside Mainland China, please pay in Hong Kong Dollar.

Discount given to member of board of directors and faculty members of Brain Gym® International (Breakthroughs International):

Board or faculty members of Breakthroughs International could benefit an extra 20% discount from early-bird or super early-bird fees. If the board member or faculty is also a speaker, an extra HK$585 (CNY¥500) discount will also be applicable.

 Logo or trademark used on PPT:

The speaker may have the name of his company or the trademark of his work appear on the first page of the paper or PPT for one time only. The organizers reserve the right to delete any extra logo or trademark that appears in the body of the essay or PPT.

Media policy of the conference:

Conference organizers welcome speakers to post/upload his or her photos taken with other speakers and participants and short videos that are less than 1 minute onto social media. Only staff of the conference co-sponsors or person who has got approval from co-sponsors may video record the whole section of speaker’s speech. Conference organizers will video record all speeches for publicity of the conference and of the speaker. If speaker would like to request a copy of the video clip of his/her speech, please contact the conference co-sponsors for fees and details.

Chinese visa for overseas speakers:

Visitors to the mainland of the People's Republic of China must obtain a visa from one of the Chinese diplomatic missions, unless they come from one of the visa exempt countries. However, visitors of some countries may be granted visa-free entry if they meet specific requirements. Please check with your closest Chinese embassy for the latest visa-application requirements and apply on a timely manner. If you need a letter of invitation from the organizers, we will be happy to assist. Visa fee shall be borne by speaker. If a speaker is unable to give the speech at conference venue due to visa handling issue, please contact co-sponsors as soon as possible. If refund is needed, it would be processed in accordance with refund policy of the conference.

Casework or private session during the conference:

If a speaker would like to provide casework or private sessions to the participant during the convening of conference, please contact co-sponsors in advance for unified arrangement. Please pay attention to further announcement as well.

For speakers who do not speak Chinese or English:

Speakers who do not speak English or Mandarin Chinese are welcome to attend the conference with the companion of their private interpreter who can translate you into English or Mandarin Chinese. If this is necessary, please contact us for details.
